About Us
Welcome to the Child Study Lab at Georgia Tech!
We are a group of computer scientists and developmental psychologists interested in studying early social, communication, and play behavior in children, including children with diagnoses on the autism spectrum. A major goal of our research is to build new computer tools to help measure the behavior of young children as they interact with others.
All of our studies take place in our Child Study Lab at the Georgia Tech campus in midtown Atlanta. During a typical study, your child will play with one of our experienced research staff at a small table with fun age-appropriate toys while we record the interaction. You are welcome to remain in the room with your child throughout your visit to our lab.
